88.4% cabernet sauvignon, 54.% petit verdot, 3/1% cabernet franc, 2.9% shiraz and 0.2% merlot co-fermented with cultured yeast, 35 days on skins, matured for 15-18 months in used French oak. Brilliantly coloured; an unusually fresh and elegant wine in the context of the base line style of Margaret River. The expressive and fragrant bouquet exudes cassis and redcurrant, the supple, medium-bodied palate has a perfect blend of fruits (blueberry and blackcurrant), harmonious French oak and fine-grained, persistent tannins. 95 points.
