Intense red colour with deep yet delicate aromatic notes. Structured and soft tannins. Well balanced, it can be drunk now or cellared for 10 years.

A bit darker-fruited and more richly textured than the 2020, the 2019 Cotes du Rhone Domaine Nicolas Boiron is also less aromatic, with dense black cherry and raspberry fruit and some earthy underpinnings. It's full-bodied, rich and velvety on the finish, where it adds some black olive nuances. JC May 2022.
