AROMA Vibrant grassy and bell pepper aromas balanced with rich lime curd. PALATE This wine brims with a zippy acidity, sweet citrus fruits and herbaceous, grassy notes. This a refreshing wine with a long saline finish. CELLARING This wine may be enjoyed on release but will find further complexity over the next two to three years.

This Pinot Gris is a genuine people pleaser. A zippy, citrus-driven French style that’s fresh, textural, harmonious and lingers just long enough. Not too heavy, not too light, it’s the Goldilocks of the whites. Region: King Valley & Yarra Valley Alc/Vol: 13.5% Smells like: Fresh cut pears, snow peas shoots and lemon thyme Tastes like: Lime flowers and miso. Crisp, bone dry and moreish with twangy lemon sorbet finish Goes with: Beer battered whiting with chips and tartare, fresh oysters, goats cheese and chargrilled vegies. Reflecting the mixed planting of old vines, a complex and intriguing aromatic mix of atypical muscat aromas with white peach and nectarine, honeydew, lemon sorbet and grapefruit pith. WINERY NOTE: What started as a mishap has become our signature style. Years ago, our Pinot Gris spent some unplanned time on skins, resulting in a beautiful colour, and a richer texture. We still follow this technique (with a little more precision!) today, making our iconic blush Pinot Gris. A sure favourite, this wine suits all palates and is great with or without food. The Turkey Flat vineyards and winery are now situated on the historic Section One property in the centre of the Barossa. The Schulz family became owners of the Turkey Flat property in around 1865 and while they continued to tend the ancient vineyard, they also developed a thriving butchers business. Marsanne, viognier and roussanne, whole-bunch pressed with extended skin contact and partial new oak maturation.
