Only few Chardonnays in Spain can be aged for a long time as reserva and stay fresh, balanced and elegant. Thanks to our location at Monjardín Valley, we are able to make this style of wine.

La Rellanada Vineyard

Located just infront of the winery, planted in 1988 it has always grown very high quality grapes. At an altitude of 650 m, we harvest in October, when grapes are golden
colour. Yield is low which brings high concentration, fantastic acidity and rich texture.
Winemaking and Aging

Harvested at night with cold temperature, we do skin maceration for 12 hours before pressing. Fermentation is done in french barriques during 25 days and it is aged
for 14 months with lees while doing frequent batonnage. Develops complexity, rich texture on the palate necesary to age for years. 100% new oak.

Tasting Notes

Golden colour, complex aromas of honey and nuts that evolve while breathing on the glass. Excellent structure, well balanced with elegant bouquet.
Open 1 hour before drinking.
