WINEMAKER'S NOTES Dry Rosé is a great wine style – one that we put a lot of work into at Deep Woods Estate. This Rosé continues a run of excellent vintages, combining great freshness and lightness in a wine that is still complex and satisfying. Julian Langworthy, Chief Winemaker COLOUR The palest of pinks. AROMA Vibrant strawberries and cream with a hint of lifted rose petals. PALATE Juicy and flavoursome with fresh raspberry and ripe, expressive strawberry. An unashamedly dry finish with a gorgeous silken texture and bright acidity. #ROSES

WINERY NOTE: Certified organic and biodynamic, Low preservative, Vegan friendly. Grenache and Tempranillo When the grapes taste this good in the vineyard, we take a very simple approach to winemaking. The grapes are hand-picked, cooled and lightly pressed using the free-run juice only. Luna de Fresa is everything we love about Rosé; dry, fresh and mouth-watering! Drink Now: Strawberry characters continue on to the palate, along with cherry and the delicate flavour of lychee. The wine is soft, textural and easy drinking. #ROSES

Trophy, Best Rose, Yarra Valley Wine Show 2022. Hand-picked, whole bunch pressed, using the crémant cycle taking only the fresh free run. The clear juice was then racked to a stainless steel tank for a long cool ferment. Once the ferment was dry, the tank was given a quick chill before bottling in July. WHY? Inspired really by what we are seeing out of southern France - those pale, bone dry Rosé’s from Provence, but also, we are intrigued by the perfume of early picked Yarra Valley Pinot Syrah. When it is hand-picked and gently pressed, it has to be one of the great combinations for a dry Rosé - fresh and refreshing. #ROSES

The Turkey Flat vineyards and winery are now situated on the historic Section One property in the centre of the Barossa. The Schulz family became owners of the Turkey Flat property in around 1865 and while they continued to tend the ancient vineyard, they also developed a thriving butchers business. Bucking the notion that Rosé is an afterthought, our 'Prince of Pink' has a special place in our hearts & is crafted with a clear purpose. We create the lifted palate of bright, primary fruits by placing rosey-cheeked Grenache in its starring role.
