Burghound 89-92.
"A deft touch of wood sets off brooding and deeply pitched aromas of dark currant, violet and a hint of humus. There is excellent power and concentration to the sleek, intense and stony flavors that evidence obvious muscle that really comes up on the palate coating finish. This robust effort manages to stop short of displaying any overt rusticity but at least some patience will be required." BH April 2017
