Classic Pinot Noir sous-bois character marks the nose of the 2017 Pinot Noir. There are also attractive hints of blackberries and herbal tea in this medium to full-bodied effort. It's dense and concentrated yet silky and already drinkable, with a lingering, gently tannic finish. Matured in only 15% new French oak, the oak influence is barely apparent, letting the complexity of the fruit shine through.
