Palate: ample and velvety, with a good balance between fruity aromas and freshness. Finishes with mineral hints. Vermentino is a white wine varietal indigenous to Sardinia but also known by other names in Italy and France. Valduero Blanco de Albillo 2020 (WS 90)
WINE SPECTATOR 90/100 We handpick the grapes in our 12-hectare limited production vineyard. The fermentation takes place at a maximum temperature of 19ºC. It ages on its own lees, gaining a powerful amount of aromas. The first white from Albillo de la Ribera del Duero. Very light straw color, due to resistance to oxidative processes. Fruity aromas with a background of pineapple and grapefruit, typical of the Albillo variety. Balanced on the palate with a slight acidity.
