The Gimblett Gravels region in the north island of NZ is producing wines of great depth and complexity. This syrah is no exception.

The predominant theme is midnight black fruit - coaxed to white pepper accented greatness by fabulous French oak treatment and a clear backbone of tangy acidity. This expert embrace of ripe fruit assures both early performance and a long vibrant future - filled with deepening spice, shimmering tannins and a lip-smacking length which just doesnt let go.
