Bozeto de Exopto is a D.O. Rioja red wine by Bodegas Exopto. This wine is a coupage of Garnacha (50%), Tempranillo (30%), and Graciano (20%) varieties. The grapes come from vines that are 50 years old on average. The harvest takes place manually in 12 kg boxes. The grapes ferment in concrete tanks at a low temperature. The wine macerates for 15 days and ages for six months in concrete and oak tanks. The goal is to marry freshness and the fruit aromas of the young wine with the wood nuances. Tasting Notes This wine is very expressive and complex on the nose with flavours of red berries, black cherries, vanilla, butterscotch, red plums, coffee and nuances of strawberries. On the palate the flavours follow through with good structure and silky tannins. A really balanced wine with elegance and a lengthy aftertaste.
